One hundred couples will have the opportunity to search through Hoboken and Jersey City on foot (and Light Rail), by using the provided clues and riddles, their knowledge of the towns, and one cell phone to lead them to the hidden diamond.

Each of the 100 couples selected will be required to bring a $50 registration fee (per couple) on the day of the event. Includes event
t-shirt, one-way Lightrail ticket, continental breakfast at registration, hors d'oeuvres and 1/2 priced drinks at final reception.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. Each team will consist of two people, one of whom must be a legal resident of New Jersey, both of whom are single (not married) and 21 years or older. The team members must be in a committed relationship with each other. The contest will end on the date stated in the posting. The opportunity to play may be affected by weather conditions. In the event the contest is postponed due to weather, contestants will be notified of the new date by email.
  2. Players must submit the required materials to be selected as a contestant. Players will be informed if they are a contestant on or before February 6, 2012. Each team selected to participate will be required to pay a $50.00 registration fee to enter the Hoboken Gold Diamond Search contest. Limit one attempt per person. Hoboken Gold Diamond and its subsidiaries are not responsible for: incomplete, lost, late, damaged, scrambled or misdirected entries or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic, which may limit a user's ability to participate in the contest.
  3. Hoboken Gold Diamond Search reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud destroys the integrity of the game as determined by Hoboken Gold Diamond Search in its sole discretion. All entries become the property of Hoboken Gold Diamond Search and will not be returned or acknowledged.
  4. Employees and families of Hoboken Gold and Diamond Exchange, its affiliates and subsidiaries, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Diamond Search are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
  5. The Diamond will be presented to the winning team at the reception following the contest. Team members must be prepared to get engaged at the reception. All other prizes will be assigned to the winning team at that time.
  6. Taxes and delivery fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Hoboken Gold Diamond and Diamond Exchange and its agencies, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Diamond Search assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, losses, or injury resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize.. Any prizes lost or stolen are not the responsibility of Hoboken Gold and Diamond Exchange, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Diamond Search, the winner assumes all liability and financial cost. Hoboken Gold and Diamond Exchange or agencies acting upon the behalf of Hoboken Gold and Diamond Exchange, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Diamond Search in no way responsible for replacement of that prize.
  7. Acceptance of prize offered constitutes permission to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, worldwide in perpetuity, without future compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entering the contest is considered a confirmation of eligibility on behalf of the enterer in accord with these rules and any pertaining local/federal/international laws. Prize winners will be required to provide photo identification.
